Multivibrator Monostable IC 555 Circuit

Monostable multivibrator circuit IC 555 is a pulse generator circuit which pulse duration is determined by the RC that is connected to the IC timer 555. In the vibrator, one output will be stable for another quasi-stable (unstable). To trigger the automatic output of a quasi-stable state to stable state deposited by an external capacitor that is connected to a reference level. The time needed depends on the pulse width in storage. Output transition from stable state to a quasi-stable state is triggered by external factors.

9 Seconds Timer with 7 Segment

This circuit counts down for 9 seconds with 7 segment display. When the switch is closed, the CD4010 up / down counter timer attached to the 9 and 555 disabled with the output held high. When the switch is opened, the timer produces a second clock signal, reducing the counter until the count 0 is reached. When the count reached zero, the implementing signal at pin 7 of the timer into a low, giving power12 volt to relay and stopping the clock with a low signal on reset line (pin 4). Relay will remain live until the switch is again closed, resetting the counter to 9. The first second clock signal from the timer 555 can be adjusted slightly longer or shorter by increasing or decreasing the resistor value on pin 3 of timer.

Note:
* This circuit can be activated from the 9V battery or 12V DC power supply.
* Time delay can be varied by changing the resistor value on pin 3 IC555.
* The switch push button to start the timer.
* Equipment can be connected via relay contacts.

Simple Running Led / Letter Circuit

This is a circuit that displays a run message in which letters are formed by the LED lights are arranged progressively. After all the letters the message has been lit, the circuit will resets.

The circuit is built by IC CD4017BC that use counter. Either feature is the provision CD4017BE of ten fully decoded outputs, making this IC ideal for use in avariety of sequencing operations. In this series only one high-voltage output is fixed and other output will switch to high voltage in a row each clock pulse comes. NE555 timer IC is installed as a stabilizer 1Hz multivibrator which clocks the IC2 forse quencing operations. At reset, output pin 3 to rise and make the transistor T7 at the ready. The output of transistor T7 is connected with the letter 'W' from the wording ofthe LED and thus the letter 'W' lit.

At the time of the first clock pulse comes, pin 3 pin 2 decreased and increased.Transistors T6 to work and light 'E' lit. Previous letter 'W' also remains on because the forward bias transistor T7 via diode D21. In the same way, the arrival of each pulse in a row, other letters from the screen also turns on and finally all the letters are lit.

On the next clock pulse, pin 6 will be valued logic 1 and reset circuit, and repeated insequence. The sequence led operation frequency is controlled with the help potmeter VR1.
